Haute Couture shows are always a site to behold, and while we stand amazed at the miles of flowing chiffon, cascading tulle, and billowing skirts, we couldn't help but notice something a little unexpected…and dare we say casual!: Shorts. Lots and lots of shorts. Karl Lagerfeld punctuated the Chanel lineup with a silvery cropped take on the trademark lady suit, while Givenchy gave us some '70s-style camp shorts, and Alexis Mabille cooked up electric-hued bermudas. We're a tad concerned that perhaps the shorts-loving Olivia Palermo has infiltrated the couture houses of Paris (was there a sighting?), but either way, we're excited, because no door policy could turn away a pair of haute couture clam-diggers!
