Nothing sounds sweeter than making lovely gifts by hand to bestow upon your loved ones — and for once, we thought we might actually have enough time to bake cookies, mix up some granola, and concoct some just-add-water cocoa recipes for friends and neighbors. But alas, it's a week from Christmas Eve, and we haven't whipped up a thing.
Luckily, our pal Julie of Julip Made has an oh-so-handy how-to for making herb-infused simple syrups — just the thing to wrap up and deliver to aspiring mixologists, tea enthusiasts, and anyone with a DIY penchant.
All you need is sugar, water, and some sprigs of rosemary or sage. (Oh, and a nifty bottle for decanting.) This would make a super-thoughtful gift paired with a specialty cocktail recipe and a nice bottle of booze, don't you think? Get the full recipe here — cheers to easy living!
