Sometimes we all need a little tough lovin'. And from the looks of it, Stephanie Tran is doling it out by the yard. For fall, the designer behind ultra-feminine line Duskin seems to have acquired an edge, replacing pretty pastels with texture and a darker palette. But the faint at heart need not fear, because it's still completely romantic and utterly wearable. There's a metallic linen hoop skirt and cropped jacket that we can see being wardrobe workhorses, and an easy, well-constructed damask cotton dress. And while it's distinctly less delicate, Stephanie says it's still her. "I design with myself in mind, what I want to wear in the moment, and this is it."
