Don’t get us wrong: We love scouring our fave stores in person as much as the next savvy shopper. But, sometimes, actually hitting these hectic havens can seem more like a retail chore than therapy. That's why we're always tickled to learn about new e-tailers that aim to make our lives a hell of a lot easier. But even e-commerce can have its pitfalls. Um, for instance — you can't actually try on the goods, and shipping costs can really add up. Sigh.
Well, we’d like to e-intro you to DITTO, an eyewear site that carries
a slew of covetable specs and sunnies. Think designers like Chloé,
Jason Wu, and Derek Lam. Not only does this handy-dandy site
allow you to virtually try on ridiculously cute frames (on a "ditto" of yourself that you create using your webcam), but once you find the perfect
pair, you won’t need to pay a cent to receive (or return) them.
And there's more: The company will
pick up the tab for your prescription lenses, too. Here’s hoping
more e-boutiques start setting their sights just as high!
