Colored Hair, Lips, And Nails Pop Up At Vena Cava

If the first day of fashion week was any indication, black is back, and in a big way. To combat the decrease in saturation, take a suggestion from Vena Cava's fall '10 hair and makeup and add pops of color in the form of hair extensions, lipstick, and nail polish. The mussed-up, ratty ponytails were accented with My-Little-Pony-esque strips of pink, blue, and green (just streak a strand with some Manic Panic, or go really temporary with a clip-in extension). Lips were in an arresting shade of persimmon, and the nails were in the same heliotrope hue as the lips at Vena Cava last season. So while fall is looking a little dark and somber, we can't wait to brighten things up a little with these cheeky beauty cues.
