Barbie has a somewhat checkered public reputation. There were the anorexia rumors, the suspicious disappearance of her best friend Midge, the plastic surgery and of course her is-he-or-isn't-he boyfriend, Ken. So why weren't we surprised to hear about the chaos that went down at her show earlier this week? Think screaming 7-year olds, collectors screaming at the screaming 7-year olds, models, and heart-shaped pink confetti falling from the ceiling. Obviously a quiet dinner at Michael's wouldn't work for Barbs 50th. But, we forgive her for the overwrought festivities becausel we know that, in her heart, she's really a doll. (The Fashion Spot)
