All right, we're just going to come right out and say it: We're in the midst of Gatsby-overload. That doesn't mean that we're not obsessing over the Baz Luhrmann flick as much as the next person, but it's starting to seem like Leo, flappers, and Jay-Z soundtracks are the only thing going on in the world. We could all use a break from fringe and elbow-length gloves, and Carey Mulligan has given us exactly that.
The gorgeous actress stepped out to the Museum of Modern Art's pre-premiere fete wearing a Lanvin spring '13 tuxedo and Brian Atwood Aida platforms, and we couldn't be happier with her edgy, slightly androgynous look. Sure, she could show up in a paper bag and we'd still be marveling over her alabaster skin, but this grown-up look is our favorite thing we've seen today.
