As much as we want to just leave the world of Tom Cruise scandals behind us, sometimes a new story comes out, and it's impossible to ignore.
The latest such story involves the rumors that have been circulating for a while about the suspicious circumstances regarding the actor's original courtship with Katie Holmes. A named source (British actress Nazanin Boniadi) is telling Vanity Fair all the sordid details of her own failed "marriage audition."
Boniadi, also a Scientologist, told the mag that she was subjected to rigorous testing and even punishment at the hands of the church during her meticulously arranged relationship with Cruise (ultimately ending in her scrubbing toilets with a toothbrush and peddling Dianetics on street corners).
