Kendall Jenner Makes A Case For The Loincloth Dress

We won't go so far as to say that hips are the new cleavage, but Kendall Jenner's latest appearance on the red carpet does make a case for going commando. As co-host of the MuchMusic Video Awards, along with sister Kylie, Jenner arrived on the red carpet in a Fausto Puglisi creation that made Angelina Jolie's right leg circa 2012 look bashful. Actually, let's forget the high-slit trend; the slashed-up skirt shown here makes it seem like Kendall's trying to make fashion loincloths happen.

With major crystal embellishments that run the length of the paneled skirt and a Royalty-ready purple lining (but for those exposed hips), the dress certainly is a gorgeous creation — it's just not for the faint of heart. While we're sure all precautions were taken to ensure no wardrobe malfunctions befell the second-youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, we'd need a whole lot of Fashion Tape to feel safe taking on such a risky number ourselves.

Kendall and Kylie both brought out a few other noteworthy looks throughout the evening (although, none quite so risqué). Nevertheless, the pair's outfits were basically the third and forth hosts of the Canadian awards show.

Tailored trousers, statement blouses, strappy, criss-cross heels: It's coordinating sibling style that's graduated from floral prints and Peter Pan collars to something much more grown up.
